We had a wonderful fast and testimony meeting today. We had new members, return missionaries, active military, and many others bear their testimony today. In gospel doctrine we played a jeperody game covering the Doctrine covenants. Priesthood leaders got sustained and set apart; Scott Johnson(president) Joseph Turner(1st councilor) Brennan Jernigan(2nd councilor) Timothy Farr(secretary). After church we had a break the fast linger longer with hot dogs chips and beans(we all enjoy these days). This is a wonderful ward and as we start building and growing we need to make sure every one is welcomed and involved.
Things coming up:
Monday FHE we are combined with the mountain park ward(last time for this) at the red mountain institute building for a get to know you adlib.
Tuesday- the relief-society(combined with mountain park) will be having a swim/pizza party at "South Land"(Southerlands house) NO MEN.
Friday: we are having a ward swim party at Bro. Reeves house.
